ANNIVERSARIES: Nusses to celebrate 50th anniversary

Loren and Lois Nuss, Hillsboro, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m., Jan. 16, at the Hillsboro Senior Center. Their family will host the event.

Loren and Lois were married on Jan. 11, 1950, in Durham.

Loren retired from the Air Force in 1969 after serving 20 years, then worked in manufacturing and sales.

Lois was a homemaker and later became director of environmental services at Parkside Homes, Inc. She retired in 1994.

The Nuss?s children are Brad and wife Sheila, Hillsboro; Stan and Linda Ewert, Durham; Mark, McPherson; Gary and wife Merilyn, Wichita; Brian and wife Cindy, Durham; and Peni Ens and husband Stan, Hillsboro. They have 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

They request no gifts but would like to have guests share memories.
