Tabor men?s soccer drops opener, 1-0

The Tabor College men?s soccer team lost its season-opener to Southwestern Christian Tuesday, 1-0.

After a scoreless first half, the Eagles scored in the 76th minute.

Tabor took just three shots all night, compared to 27 by Southwestern Christian. The Eagles took 11 shots on goal; Tabor had none.

Goalkeeper Alfredo Piedra had 10 saves.

Coming?Tabor will host Johnson and Wales Thurs?day at 7:30 p.m. and will welcome Rocky Mountain College to Hillsboro Satur?day for a 1 p.m. game.
