Palic competes in 42nd Shrine Bowl

Kyle Palic was a member of the West squad at the 42nd annual Shrine Bowl at Fort Hays State University Saturday. In the end, the East defeated the West, 21-0. ?It's eye-opening,? Palic said of the experience. ?It's a lot different than 2A. Everyone's so much bigger.? Palic, a 6-3, 225-pound linebacker was a first-team all-league selection last year, with a team-high 144 tackles, including six for loss. A standout athlete in multiple sports?he received all-state recognition in football, won the Class 3-2-1A state wrestling title at 220 pounds, and placed fifth at state in the discus during his senior campaign?Palic will continue playing football at Hutchinson Community College this fall.
