Cougar Classic slated to begin Jan. 15 in Centre

The tournament format for next week’s Cougar Classic Jan. 15, 18 and 19 has been announced.

Hosted by Centre, the Cougars will be joined by Elyria, Hope, Marion, Peabody-Burns, Solomon, Wakefield and White City.

Competition on two courts is slated to begin Tuesday, Jan. 15, with girls taking to the court at 4 p.m., followed by boys at 5:30 p.m., girls at 7 p.m. and boys at 8:30 p.m.. The same schedule will be followed Friday.

Saturday action is set to begin with girls (fifth and seventh) at 2 p.m., followed by boys at 3:30 p.m. Girls (first and third) will play at 5 p.m., followed by boys at 6:30 pm.

Seedings will not be determined until later this week.
