Canton-Galva—The Eagles experienced another rough week, going winless Sept. 11 at a Moundridge triangular before posting an 0-3 record at the Marion Spikefest tournament Saturday.

Canton-Galva dropped matches to Moundridge (1-2) and Inman (0-2) Tuesday.

The Eagles then lost to Halstead (13-25, 13-25), Eureka (23-25, 17-25) and Marion (13-25, 25-22, 8-25) in pool play to conclude their play at the tournament.

The Eagles were scheduled to compete at Ell-Saline Sept. 18.

Centre—The Cougars picked up back-to-back two-game wins over Hope (25-13, 25-12) and Solomon (25-9, 25-14) Sept. 11, and a three-game win over Eureka (25-20, 21-25, 25-21).

They competed Saturday at the Marion Spikefest, losing in pool play to Berean Academy (19-25, 21-25) and Sedgwick (20-25, 20-25) before beating Lyons.

Centre was scheduled to compete at Peabody-Burns Sept. 18 before traveling to Herington Saturday.

Goessel—The Bluebirds went 2-0 in league action Tuesday at the Peabody-Burns triangular, defeating White City (25-13, 25-10) and the home team (25-18, 25-7).

They improve to 4-0 in the league and a 10-2 overall record on their hunt for another state berth.

GHS was scheduled to play at home Sept. 18.

Peabody-Burns—The Warriors dropped a home match to Goessel Tuesday in their home triangular (18-25, 7-25). Scores were not available for their White City match.

PBHS was scheduled to compete against Centre and Wake­field Sept. 18 before traveling to Olpe Saturday for a tournament.
