MHS varsity games postponed as switch failure darkens Marion for hours

Crews from both the city and its energy provider were required to repair damage to a switch that brings electricty to Marion.

The JV boys basketball game was dominated by visiting Collegiate until the power failed midway through the third quarter. The varsity games have been rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 17. The girls will play at 5 p.m. followed by the boys at 6:30.
