The Tabor volleyball team couldn’t quite get the job done against NAIA Top-25 team MidAmerica Nazarene Saturday, losing a four-game match, 19-25, 25-22, 15-25, 13-25.
Tabor split the first two games with the Pioneers, but MidAmerica pulled away in the second two games.
Katie Vogts led Tabor’s attack with 13 kills; Jessie Vogts added 10 and Courtney Erwin five. Setter Hollister Wolf contributed 29 assists.
Amy Jo Maphet led the defense with six digs, with Abbey Burns adding four.
Tabor posted 35 kills for the match and a .207 hitting percentage, compared to the Pioneers’ 48 kills and .413 hitting percentage.
Coming—Tabor will have its home and conference opener Wednesday, Sept. 5, when the Bluejays host McPherson College starting at 7 p.m.
