Tabor soccer teams compete at Ottawa

The Tabor College women?s soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision at Ottawa Saturday, while the men played to a 1-1 tie.
In the women?s game, the Braves scored two goals in the first half, and the Blue?jays could not answer. Goal?keeper Amber Mayer had six saves.
The Tabor men, meanwhile, battled to a tie.
After two overtime periods, Tabor and Ottawa remained locked at 1-1. The game was the fourth consecutive double overtime contest Tabor has played.
Ottawa got on the board first with a goal just over 2 minutes into the game.
The score remained 1-0 at the half, but Tabor?s Alberto Checa evened the count with a goal at 72:37. Neither team scored in the two overtime periods.
Goalkeeper Antoine Williams had eight saves for Tabor.
Coming?Tabor was scheduled to host Bethel Tuesday in the final regular season matchup.
