Morris signs for Sterling College hoops

Christina Morris signed a letter of intent Thursday to play basketball next year for Sterling College. The Hillsboro High School senior worked her way into the starting lineup about midway through the Trojans? 23-3 season and third-place finish in the Class 3A state tournament. The 5-foot-8 post player averaged 2.42 points and 2.77 rebounds in just over 14 minutes per game. Seated to Morris?s right are her mother, Allison Schultz, and husband Scott; seated to her left is her father, Justin Morris, a soccer coach at Sterling.
