The Tabor cross country teams made tracks this weekend at the 6K and 4K Gold Classic Saturday hosted by Wichita State University at Augusta.
Pacing the women was junior Brielle Lund, who took 19th out of 99 runners in 15 minutes, 38 seconds. Also competing for Tabor were sophomore Hannah Holmes (41st, 16:47) and junior Makenzie King (57th, 17:23).
Leading the men was sophomore Joel Allen, who placed 12th out of 133 runners in 19:16. Junior Jacob Heil finished 46th in 20:32.
Also running were sophomore Garrett Daugherty (56th, 20:48), junior Nathan Vogel (79th, 21:22), freshman Bret Mueller (82nd, 21:45), freshman Paul Williams (84th, 21:55) and senior Jon Guiterrez (133rd, 28:09).
Coming—The Bluejays are scheduled to compete Saturday in the Wild Wind Festival at the Kansas Coliseum in Wichita, hosted by Friends University. The meet begins at 8:15 a.m.
