Adria Whitehorn and Kimberley Lawson will join the Tabor College women’s soccer team this fall.
Whitehorn, a 5-feet, 7-inch, midfielder-slash-forward from Duncanville, Texas, will transfer from Cisco (Texas) Junior College. She is the twin sister of Tabor standout Aubrey Whitehorn.
According to soccer coach Herb Wiebe, “Adria is a very athletic player who will help us in several different spots on the field.”
Whitehorn will also join the Bluejays softball team.
Lawson, from Thornton, Colo., is a 5-2 defender who played for Pinnacle Charter School.
Wiebe expects her to improve the team’s back line.
“Kim is a hard worker with a great attitude,” Wiebe said. “Her ‘no fear’ attitude will add depth to our defense.”
