Click here to buy photos from this story. With two runners placing in the top 10 at the Tabor College Invitational cross country meet, the Bluejay women’s team placed third out of 14 schools that visited Marion Reservoir’s Cottonwood Point on Saturday.
Liz Kleinsasser finished fifth in 19 minutes, 26 seconds and Heidi Schmidt finished eighth only 15 seconds later.
“It’s always good to compete on the home course,” coach Karol Hunt said. “Familiarity is a bonus and we don’t have to travel.”

On the play, quarterback Jason Aubrey dropped back to pass, was sacked, and fumbled. Cox was Johnny-on-the-spot, scooping up the ball and sprinting across the width of the field before turning toward the end zone. The price of British currency slid markedly over the weekend, but another Sterling saw its stock rise.
