Despite the disappointment the loss brings, coach Shawn Reed praised the efforts of his team during a season of adversity.

Tabor baseball wins two at home

Tabor earned two victories over Missouri Valley College Saturday to improve to 4-2 on the season.Game One—Tabor scored 15 of its 18 runs in the sixth inning to defeat Missouri Valley, 18-3.
Three Bluejays scored three runs apiece: Art Corona (two RBIs), Grant Silva (five RBIs) and Kirk Rocha (two RBIs).
Also gaining runs were: Kevin Seeger, Cody Eaves, Tyler Kozlowski, Keenan Chanin (two), Paul Sciacca, Troy Torres, Shaun Reid and Ryan Neufeld.
Eaves, Rocha and Silva each hit home runs to aid Tabor.

It was a slow start for the Bluejays, however, as the Coyotes surged to a 16-4 double-digit lead eight minutes into the game. But after a Tabor timeout, the Bluejays used a 7-0 run to draw within five, 16-11, when Nikki Lewis drained a three-point basket.
Lewis contributed two more baskets behind the arc in the next three minutes, helping Tabor narrow the Coyote lead to 21-19 with 6:54 left in the half.
But Kansas Wesleyan built a nine-point, 32-23, lead at 2:46 when Tabor shots refused to fall.
