In No. 1 doubles, Kelyn Vix and Tyler Dort dropped an 8-5 decision to Keenan Smith and Bryson Dabney.
Sam Brucks and Jake Brucks fell 8-3 to Andrew Davids and Matt Edwards in No. 2 doubles, while Nate Panttaja and Darryn Davis lost to Mitch Kibbe and Kenton Hallowell, 8-3, in the No. 3 spot.

Written by Janae Rempel Tuesday, 19 March 2013 13:41The Tabor baseball team picked up its first conference wins of the season with four victories against McPherson College Friday and Saturday to improve to 4-0 in the KCAC, 13-5 overall.
On Friday, Tabor won 11-1 and 10-4.
“We played really well the first two games of the series,” coach Mark Standiford said. “We had good at-bats and our pitching was outstanding.”
In Game 1, the Bluejays claimed a 3-1 lead at the end of three innings, then added eight unanswered runs over the next two innings.
Kirk Rocha—KCAC Player of the Week—knocked two home runs for the Bluejays. The junior outfielder had three hits, scored three runs and drove in four in three at-bats.

Saint Gregory’s—After dropping a 12-4 loss to the 16th-ranked Cavaliers the previous weekend, the Bluejays faced Saint Gregory’s in a doubleheader Wednesday, dropping both games 5-0, 8-2.
Neither team scored the first four innings of Game 1, but a late burst by the Cavaliers resulted in three runs in the fifth inning and two more in the sixth for the 5-0 victory.
Tabor recorded four hits in the game, one each from Sarah Massey, Cortnie Killen, Lauren Brown and Brooke Tomten.
Karen Harris pitched six innings for Tabor and allowed nine hits and five runs with no strikeouts.

In No. 1 doubles, Becky Faber and Anna Friesen defeated Kristen Reith and Tori McCord, 8-2.

That 10-inning nail-biter at Oklahoma Christian University saw the Bluejays on the short end of 5-4 score Monday.
Tabor led 4-1 after the first inning, but it proved to be the Bluejays’ only points of the night.
The Eagles, meanwhile, tied the game at 4 at the end of nine innings, forcing the extra inning and scoring the winning run in the 10th.
Scoring for Tabor were Wes Moody and Alex Hill—each with one run and one RBI, and Art Corona and Keenan Chanin with one run apiece.
On the mound, Anthony Mendoza pitched three innings for Tabor, allowing five hits and two runs with four strikeouts.
