USD 398 Board of Education will be recognizing Peabody-Burns students Feb. 5 who achieved either an “Exceeds” or “Exemplary” score on last year’s state assessments.
The recognition will occur between the girls’ and boys’ high school varsity basketball games. The estimated time is between 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in Brown Gymnasium.
The academic assessments recognized are math, reading and science for grades four, seven and 11, and social studies for grades six and eight.
Students will be recognized in one, two, or even three of the areas in which they qualify.
In addition to the individual awards, specific classes will be recognized that have achieved the “Standard of Excellence.”
