HHS ‘Students of the Month’ for December

Lillian marie benda, freshman
Parent: Karen Benda
Extra-curricular: CYO, GAP Club, choir.
Hobbies/interests: Music, sports, volunteering, drawing.
Future: I plan to get a degree in the medical field and possibly after that go to the Peace Corps.
KARYN LEIHY, sophomore
Parents: Thomas and Monica Leihy
Extra-curricular: Cross country, track.
Hobbies/interests: Drawing, listening to music, running. I work at Dale’s Supermarket.
Future: I plan on attending college after high school, but am not sure what field I want to study.
Allison maxfield, freshman
Parents: Jonathan and Dana Maxfield
Extra-curricular: I was in the high school musical, Parkview MBY.
Hobbies/interests: I do a paper route with Lydia Kliewer. I love birds and dogs.
Future: I want to go to a college and work as a dental assistant.
JESSE MEIER, sophomore
Parents: Jon and Jill Meier
Extra-curricular: Football, wrestling, FFA, LYF and summer weights.
Hobbies/interests: Hunting, fishing, trapping and welding (for fun, not because I broke something).
Future: Wildlife biologist or mechanical engineer.
Kalen Moss, freshman
Parents: Stephanie and Rusty Moss
Extra-curricular: Volleyball, forensics, softball, Ebenfeld youth group.
Hobbies/interests: I coach, referee and play for MC United Soccer Club. When I’m not busy, I?spend my time with my friends or family.
Future: I’m not sure where I will start college, but ideally I would like to complete my education at Harvard. I plan on majoring in law.
tanner sechrist, junior
Parents: Joe and Brenda Sechrist
Extra-curricular: I am part of the Newton Nitros swim team as well as Spirit-N-Celebration and National Honor Society. I participated in the musical this year. I am part of MBY at Hillsboro MB?Church.
Hobbies/interests: I have a part-time job at the church. I also enjoy following sports.
Future: I’m not sure what college I want to go to or what my major will be, but I want to do something with science. I also want to swim in college.
