Peabody-Burns plans Aug. 9-10 enrollment

Enrollment for Peabody-Burns public schools will be Aug. 9 and 10 in the high school’s Brown Gymnasium.

Hours on Thursday, Aug. 9, will be 8 a.m. to noon, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. On Aug. 10, the hours will be 8 a.m. to noon.

Specific times for Peabody Burns Junior/Senior High on Thursday will be: seniors, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.; juniors, 10 a.m. to noon; sophomores, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.; freshmen, 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.; eighth-graders, 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.; seventh-graders, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.; and sixth-graders, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The district will accept credit or debit cards to pay school fees.

For households with an e-mail account, the district can set up an account to view your children’s homework assignments, grades and attendance.

Ultimately, school and lunch fees will be payable online at no extra charge.

To be eligible for preschool, children must be 3 years old by Aug. 31. To be eligible for kindergarten, children must be 5 years old by Aug. 31.
