Marion students attend Girls State

Three Marion students attended Sunflower Girls State in Lawrence June 3-9 thanks to the generosity of several area businesses and organizations. Pictured are (from left) Jennifer Freuchting, Elizabeth Goentzel and Sarah Eurit. Contributing to the cost of their participation were James William Miesse American Legion Post 22 with the help of Central National Bank, Tampa State Bank, Marion Kiwanis and Scully Partners LP of Hillsboro.
