Luke Moore, a Hillsboro High School senior, signed a letter of intent Thursday to play football at Greenville (Ind.) College next fall. In his senior season, the Trojan quarterback threw for 1,040 yards and 11 touchdowns and ran for 625 yards and 14 touchdowns as he led HHS to a 5-5 record and the first round of the state playoffs. As a linebacker, he was the team’s second-leading tackler. Moore was a co-pick for first-team quarterback in the North Division of the Central Kansas League. Sitting with him are his parents, Donna and Jim Moore. Behind them are Trojan football coaches (from left) Scott O’Hare, Max Heinrichs (head) and Dennis Boldt.
