Ceramics by Grady Stultz, Bethel College senior from Goessel, were on display May 3-19 in the Fine Arts Center Gallery on the Bethel College campus in North Newton. He was one of five students whose work was featured at the annual Bethel College Senior Art Exhibit. Stultz, son of Harold and Jennifer Stultz, graduated May 19 with a degree in art.
• Danielle Hagen will be graduating from Wichita State University with a master’s degree in social work. Her undergraduate studies were at the University of Kansas with a major in psychology and a minor in anthropology. She is the daughter of Terry and Cheryl Hagen, Hillsboro.

Charlie Major, a fourth-grader at Hillsboro Elementary School, had his work featured May 18 on Green Screen Adventures, which was broadcast on Me-TV.Me-TV can be seen on KAKE-TV, Channel 10.2 (Cox 669).
“We applaud students around the country who create and write stories,” said Dan Wall, KAKE vice president and general manager, “and we applaud Green Screen Adventures for bringing these stories to life.”

“I knew it,” said the Hillsboro Elementary School fifth-grader. “I was so into it. I love drawing, I love being in art class.”

Tabor College graduates largest class yet at 194

Of the 194 degrees conferred, 127 were bachelor of arts, 11 master of business administration, 13 bachelor of science, 42 bachelor of science in nursing and one associate of arts degrees.
The program opened with an invocation by Anna Reid, representing the School of Adult and Graduate Studies.
Michael Klaassen spoke as the representative of Hillsboro campus graduates, while Leilani Schenkel spoke on behalf of the graduates from the Wichita campus. Tynan Honn, president of the senior class, presented the graduating class response.
