Thanks to everyone who supports the fair

Every summer the county fair comes to town. People from every corner of the county come to exhibit, sightsee and experience the fair. It is a three-day venture for which many kids have worked all year to exhibit their animals, works of art, educational displays, and so on. The fair hosts a time for making lifelong memories.

I grew up in 4-H and know that it is where I want to raise my children. The benefits of 4-H are endless and there is something for everyone to experience, learn, and grow. The county fair was a very important part of my childhood and I want to be able to pass those kinds of memories on to my children.

So, as a 4-H parent and fair board member, I would like to say thank-you to all the people of the past, present and future who have had a genuine interest in supporting the fair either with an interest in 4-H and FFA or the event in general.

There are countless people who spend their free time, energy, funds, knowledge and experience to help make the fair a success every year. If I thought I could make a list of everyone who has contributed in some way, I would do it. But I am afraid I would leave someone worthy of the praise off the list, so I won’t.
