Why not give funds to homeowners?

Our government wants to really get in bed with the big boys and stick us taxpayers with the bill.

Instead of bailing out Wall Street how far would three-quarters of a trillion dollars go if divided among home owners?

If just divided among those losing their mortgage and made payable to their mortgage company wouldn’t the money eventually get back to Wall Street?
