Call of duty

By this point in an election year, given the marathon of mudslinging, its tempting to walk away from the ballot box in disgust. But voting is not just a privilege, it’s a duty we have under our form of representative government. Some believe we face a critical presidential election that could determine the course of the country for decades. Whether that’s truth or hyperbole, one thing hasn’t changed: It’s our job to participate in the process. —DR
