The public is invited to attend the spring concert of the Tabor College choirs at 7 p.m. Sunday at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.
The women of the concert choir and Concerto Bella Voce women’s chorale will join to perform Benjamin Britten’s “A Ceremony of Carols,” a work accompanied by harp.
Janie Brokenicky, assistant professor of choral music, will direct the choir and Jane Hyde, harpist for the Wichita Symphony Orchestra, will accompany.
Holly Swartzendruber, voice professor for Tabor, will be a featured soloist and will perform a duet with senior Jessica Coldwell.

A wellness class is being offered by Marion County Department on Aging at 2 p.m. with the starting date changed to May 7 in the conference room at Bethesda Home, 408 E. Main St., Goessel.
The class is for family members of individuals living with diabetes, asthma, heart or lung disease and arthritis, plus other chronic conditions and the people with these health conditions.
This educational class covers making decisions, healthy eating, falls and balance, talking to the family physician and getting a good night's sleep.
The class will meet every Tuesday at 2 p.m. for six weeks. The cost is $6.

Applications are always being accepted, but to enroll a child in the next school year, he or she must be age 3 by Aug. 31.

Piano recital set April 28 in Durham
The Durham Baptist Church will have a piano recital at 1:15 p.m. Sunday, April 28, to dedicate its new piano.
