Trojans head for state!

The Hillsboro High School volleyball team holds high its championship plaque following the Trojans’ victory over Remington in the finals of the Class 3A substate tournament at Sedgwick on Saturday. Hillsboro swept its three matches in the minimum six games. The Trojans (29-8) will take on Phillipsburg (37-2) at about 9:30 a.m. Friday in the first round of pool play at the Bicentennial Center in Salina. If they survive pool play, they will play the semifinals and possibly finals on Saturday morning.
