HHS girls come from behind to capture third at state

Hillsboro seniors Courtney Weber, Callie Serene, Stephanie Sanders and Krista Reimer (classmate Amy Bartel is blocked from view) exalt after receiving the third-place plaque following their 42-38 come-from-behind in over Atchison County in the consolation matchup Saturday afternoon. The Hillsboro student section celebrates the moment of victory against Caney Valley in the first round of tournament play on Thursday. HHS prevailed, 48-39 to advance to the semifinals.
