Legislators to make two stops in county Feb. 27

Bob Brookens Jim Barnett Kansas Sen. Jim Barnett of Emporia and Rep. Robert Brookens of Marion will be at the Hillsboro City Building, 118 E. Grand, at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, for a legislative coffee.

Following that session, the elected legislators will be at Zimmerman’s coffee shop, 125 E, Main in Marion at 10 a.m.

“Come meet your legislators, have your concerns addressed, questions answered and find out about legislative issues,” one organizer said.

The two sessions are being sponsored by the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce and the Marion Chamber of Commerce, respectively.
