Goessel tournament results

The Goessel High School girls basketball team crushed Burrton 38-23 for third place in the Bluebird Classic, while the GHS boys placed second with a 57-44 loss to Burrton Saturday. The Canton-Galva boys placed third with a 46-36 win over Elyria. Veritas beat the Central Christian boys 49-30 for fifth. Central Christian beat Canton-Galva 56-23 for first place in the girls bracket, while Elyria beat Veritas 49-18 for the girls' fifth place.
