Couple weds in May at Pilsen
Amber Richmond and Scott Thompson, both of Overland Park, exchanged wedding vows at 2 p.m. May 26 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church with Father Kerry Ninemire of St. Mary Queen of the Universe officiating the double-ring ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Rodney and Diane Richmond of Marion. The groom’s parents are Jeff and Mary Thompson of Salina.
Organist and pianist Royce Young and vocalist Michelle Dolan are both of Salina. Diana Chase of McPherson played trumpet.
The bride wore an ivory tulle and lace mermaid dress with strapless bodice, dropped waist and floor-length ball-gown skirt with chapel train. The bride, maid of honor and bridesmaids all carried blush pink garden roses.
Erin Richmond of Overland Park was the maid of honor, and she and the bridesmaids wore an ivory chiffon strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline and mushroom-pleated crisscross bodice with a split front overskirt.
Bridesmaids were Molly Smith of Marion, Leann Klenda of Durham, Jill Versch of Manhattan, Katie Barnes of Dallas, Texas, and Molly Thompson and Sally Thompson, both of Salina.
The flower girls were Brylee Smith of Marion and Libby Vishnefske of Salina.
The best man was Joey Thompson of Lawrence.
Groomsmen were Jake Wittler of Chicago, Ill., Phil Linville of Dallas, John Hassler of Kansas City, Mo., Joey Krsnich of Dallas, Mark Hagan of Omaha, Neb., and John Armstrong of Chicago.
Ushers were Gautama Dandu of Salina, Steven Diederich of St. Louis, Mo., Chad Evenson of New York, N.Y., and Trey Thompson of Chicago.
House party members were Ashley Powell of Chicago, Stephanie Tierhold of Buffalo Grove, Ill., Kristen Watkins of Dallas and Rebecca Young of Tulsa, Okla.
A reception was held in Marion.
The couple honeymooned in Tuscanny, Italy. They are at home in Louisville, Colo.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Marion High School. She is a graduate of the University of Kansas earning a degree in human biology and a doctorate of chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City. She is employed as a chiropractor with Well Spine Family Chiropractic in Louisville.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Salina Sovuth High School and the University of Kansas earning a degree in finance and information systems. He is employed with Ricoh as a financial analyst.
Stucky, Hageman wedding Sept. 8
Melinda Stucky and Dallas Hageman, both of Buhler, were united in marriage in a backyard ceremony Sept. 8 at the bride’s home in Goessel.
Parents of the couple are Brian and Nancy Stucky of Goessel and Kenny and Linda Hageman of Zenda.
Grandparents are Mary K Stucky of Moundridge, Josephine Voth of Goessel and Eleanor Hageman, Zenda.
Matron of honor was Tara Cooprider of Topeka.
Best man was Larry Thimesch of Zenda.
Following a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas, the couple is at home in Buhler.
The bride is employed as intake coordinator at Via Christi Hope in Wichita.
The groom is employed as director of engineering at BWI of Kansas in Wichita.
