Harmon, Domke exchange vows
Chelsey Harmon and Gary Domke exchanged wedding vows June 4 at the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Lawrence with pastor Robert Leiste performing the double-ring ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Tom and Carla Harmon of Durham and Gary and Adrienne Domke of Leavenworth.
Grandparents of the bride are Nellie Jost of Hillsboro and the late Norton Jost and Joan Harmon of Durham and the late Bill Harmon.
Grandparents of the groom are David and Marilyn Domke of Toganoxie and Geza and Esther Ziegler of Fairfield, Conn.
The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a Pronovias torino taffeta gown with strapless sweetheart neckline and ruching in the bodice. Her bouquet was made up of long-stemmed white calla lilies.
She was attended by maid of honor Laura Skiles, friend of the bride.
Bridemaids included Sam Hill, friend of the bride, and Ariana Domke, sister of the groom.
The best man was Nick Domke, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Brian Cordes and Marcus Gore, both friends of the groom.
The bride’s personal attendant was Meagan Smith, friend of the bride.
Serving as ushers were Michael Brooks and Nathanial Vigil, friends of the couple.
The rehearsal dinner was at Holcom Park and hosted by the groom’s parents.
Following the ceremony, the dinner and reception were held at the Oread Hotel.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Hillsboro High School and December 2010 graduate of the University of Kansas. She is employed as the director of Marketing and Design for the Olivia Collection.
The groom is a 2006 graduate of Immaculata High School and a May 2011 graduate of the University of Kansas. He is employed as an Industrial Designer with R2Fact Inc.
After a honeymoon to South Beach Florida, the couple is at home in Lawrence.
