Marion couple united in marriage
Jessica Lynn Bernhardt and Tyson Scott Heidebrecht were united in marriage at 5 p.m. May 19 at Valley United Methodist Church in Marion. Certified officiant Anthony Cook of Parsons, friend of the bride, performed the double-ring ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Dennis and Donna Bernhardt and Scott and Rolana Heidebrecht, all of Marion.
The bride’s grandparents are Marvin and Helen Bernhardt and Don and Susan Berg, all of Marion.
The groom’s grandparents are Leland and Kay Heidebrecht of Marion, and Ronald and Kathleen Ludwig of Florence.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white satin side-draped A-line gown and carried a bouquet of yellow tulips and white freesia. She was attended by her sister, Jamie Norris of Richmond, Va., as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessi Helmer of Marion, friend of the bride, and Jordan Harper of Wichita, cousin of the bride.
Adam Heerey of Manhattan, friend of the groom, served as best man. Justin Heidebrecht of Manhattan and Taylor Heidebrecht of Marion, brothers of the groom, were groomsmen.
Ushers were Jacob Harper of Marion, cousin of the bride, and Peyton Heidebrecht of Marion, brother of the groom.
Addison Norris of Richmond, Va., niece of the bride, and Jenna Sokoll of Wichita, cousin of the groom, were flower girls.
Greeters were Mitchell Norris of Richmond, Va., nephew of the bride, Evann Heidebrecht of Marion, brother of the groom, and Corinn Sokoll of Wichita, cousin of the groom.
Brenda Dawson of Marion, aunt of the bride, and Mike Norris of Richmond, Va., brother-in-law of the bride, served as the couple’s attendants.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance reception were held at Marion Community Center.
The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner May 18 at their home in honor of the couple and the wedding party.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Marion High School, 2009 graduate of Southwestern College with a bachelor of arts in communication, and a 2011 graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Neb., with a master of arts in communication. She is employed by Professional Research Consultants in Omaha.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Marion High School, and is employed by Northwest Respiratory Services in Omaha.
The couple went to Riviera Maya, Mexico, for their honeymoon. They reside in Omaha.
