Gayer and Brown exchange vows

Amanda Gayer and Spencer Brown were married May 21 at the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren?Church, 300 Prairie Pointe, Hillsboro. The bride’s grandfather, Curtis Roesch, performed the double-ring ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Doug and Tamara Gayer of McPherson. Grandparents are Curtis and Karen Roesch of Quinter and Glenn and Loreen Gayer of McPherson.

The groom is the son of Greg and Denise Brown of Hillsboro. His grandparents are Nick and Deanna Dolloff of Minneapolis, Minn., and Edmonde and Barbara Brown of Archie, Mo.

The bride was escorted by her father. She was attended by maid of honor Staci Regier, friend of the bride.

Bridemaids included Jillian Marsh, sister of the groom; Allie Faul, cousin of the bride; and Jill Nowak and Kaitlin Reed, both friends of the bride.

The best men were Nick Brown and Jessie Brown, brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were Chad Gayer and Mark Gayer, brothers of the bride, and Daniel Jost, friend of the groom.

Serving as ushers were Matt Stuck, Dan Montigney, Ishmael Morris, friends of the groom; Caleb Marsh, brother-in-law of the groom, and Colby Dolloff, Micah Dolloff and Jordy Dolloff, cousins of the groom.

Program attendants were Jordan Faul and Caleb Gayer, cousins of the bride.

A wagon was pulled by Mac Dolloff, cousin of the groom, with both Newell Marsh, nephew of the groom, serving as ring bearer, and Dru Dolloff, cousin of the groom, serving as flower girl.

Music was performed by Bekka Dolloff at the piano and Dee Dolloff on saxophone, aunts of the groom.

Candlelighters were Leah Dolloff and Brenna Dolloff, cousins of the groom. Guestbook attendants were Annie Walker and Hanna Bishop, friends of the bride. Gift table attendants included Emily Pierce, cousin of the bride, and Maggie Cornish, Brittany Schneider, Brenda Sechrist, Abbey Sechrist, Millie Sechrist and Emily Sechrist, all friends of the bride and groom.

Camera man was Tanner Sechrist, friend of the bride and groom.

The wedding coordinator was Michelle Faul, aunt of the bride.

Tina Burkholder and Janette Ward, also aunts of the bride, served as reception hostesses.

A rehearsal dinner was at HMBC and hosted by the parents of the groom May 20.

A reception was held in the Fellowship Hall at HMBC.

Following a wedding trip to Branson, Mo., the couple is at home in Hillsboro.

Both will be seniors at Tabor College this fall.
