The wedding was held at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Topeka with Father Brian officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Debbie Geist of Topeka.

The groom is the son of Kenton and Barbara Buller of Newton.

Grandparents attending were Ervin and Carrol Ediger of Hillsboro.

Adrian and Unruh united in marriage

The wedding was held at Tabor Mennonite Church in rural Newton.

The bride is the daughter of Duane and Sharon Adrian of Butterfield, Minn.

Grandparents of the bride are Margaret Adrian and the late John Adrian of Butterfield and LeRoy and Alice Funk of Goessel.

The groom is the son of Paul and Christine Unruh of Hesston.

The groom’s grandparents are Eva Mae Andres and the late Harold Andres and Belva Unruh and the late Verney Unruh, all of Newton.

The maid of honor was Janna Duerksen, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Chelsea Vaught and Sara Schram, friends of the bride.

Eileen Hett and Troy Schmidt both of Marion were married Oct. 18.

The double-ring ceremony was held at a relative’s home outdoors and near a pond with Brad Penner, uncle of the bride, officiating.

The bride’s parents are Clifford and Evelyn Hett of Peabody. The groom’s parents are Robert and Bonnie Schmidt of Marion.

Fall-colored mums were part of the decor.

The bride wore a white chiffon over satin gown featuring a V-neck, sleeveless bodice with an A-line skirt that flowed into a chapel-length train. Small covered buttons accent the back and white bugle beads embellishes the entire gown.

The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Pastor Gordon Smith at Faith Mennonite Church in Newton.

A memorial candlelighting service was led by Eric Massanari.

Pastor Sara Dick of Shalom Mennonite Church followed with prayer.

Guest book attendant was Emily Luken, granddaughter of the groom, from Cincinnati, Ohio.

Musicians were Thomas Baty and Allie Baty of Missoula, Mont., who are grandchildren of the bride.

Organist was Helen Jantz of Newton.

The groom is the son of Paul and Christine Unruh of Hesston. Grandparents of the groom are Eva Mae Andres and the late Harold Andres, and Belva Unruh and the late Verney Unruh.

Maid of honor was Jennifer Russell. Bridesmaids were Jessica Eisenberg and Catherine Van Der Kar, friends of the bride. Best man was Nicholas Unruh. Groomsmen were Landon Unruh and Jamison Unruh, brothers of the groom.
