Baltzer, Cortright wedding Jan. 22Katherine Leigh Baltzer and Samuel Allan Cortright were married at 11 a.m. Jan. 22 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Louisburg.
Monsignor Robert Bergman officiated the double-ring ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Doug and Shirley Baltzer of Lehigh and Bret and Jacqueline Cortright of Shawnee.
Grandparents of the bride are Jona and Mary Baltzer the late Abe Klassen and Helen Jane Klassen, all of Hillsboro.

Robin Bartel of Hillsboro and Zachary Ebmeir of Hutchinson were married at 4 p.m. June 26 at First Mennonite Church in Hutchinson.Pastor Jeff Prothro officiated the double-ring ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Roger and Fern Bartel of Hillsboro, and Charles and Jan Ebmeier of Hutchinson.
The bride wore a white strapless gown, multi-layered with translucent flowerets and a long train. She carried a bouquet made by her mother.
Matron of honor was Nicole Bartel, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Nicolee Ebmeier, sister of the groom, and Mandy Schrag, friend of the bride.

Soyez, Peterson exchange vowsRebecca Lee Soyez and Scott Lee Peterson, both of Marion, were married at 5 p.m. June 11 in a double-ring ceremony.
The wedding took place at Wayne and Linda Friesen’s home in Hillsboro, parents of the bride, and was officiated by Laney Kuhn, friend of the couple. Parents of the groom are Bonnie Peterson of Hico, Texas, and Carl Peterson of Council Grove.
The Friesen’s backyard was decorated with a heart-shaped arch, green ferns and gerber daisies.
The bride’s dress was a white satin halter dress embellished with crystals and beads on the neckline. Her bouquet included yellow gerber daisies, white spider mums and crystal beads.
