PEABODY SENIOR CENTER

What a roller coaster ride this Kansas weather has been this past week! One thing about it, we can never complain about being “boring.”

We will have the final service of the Lenten series with Pastor Robert Kloth of the Lutheran Church Wednesday, April 20.

Our holiday Brunch is at 9:30 a.m. Good Friday, April 22. Please plan on joining us. Kim always fixes a wonderful breakfast meal and we will also be honoring and thanking our volunteers from the past year.

We like to do this because certainly without volunteers we could not possibly be able to serve the community with meals and information and entertainment. We appreciate every one of our faithful volunteers.

Monthly Bingo is April 26, which is rescheduled from the first Tuesday of the month because of elections.

Jeremy Armstrong, chief executive officer of St. Luke Hospital and Mike Norris, marketing manager, will talk about hospital renovations April 27. to tell us all about the renovations at St. Luke’s and answer any questions we might have.

For information on any of the activities or calendar of events or to make a reservation for a meal, call 620-983-2226 between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

We will be glad to assist you. We also have an answering machine if you call after hours and would like to leave a message.
