Free tax help continues on Tuesdays and Fridays at the center. Appointments are not necessary. The Valentine Luncheon is planned for noon, Feb. 14. The German Singers will sing old songs with new flavor. Call for reservations. On Wednesday, Feb. 16, a covered-dish meal will be held at noon. Senior center post office will be available at 11 a.m. and Dr. Zafar will be there at 11:15. Following lunch, Mark IV Quartet will present a program. The following people volunteered at the center last week. Kitchen: Gladys Jantz, Elda Ebel, Irma Koop, Irma Groening, Nellie Jost, Lydia Pankratz, Mildred Harding, Edna Spinks, Mariann Unruh and Fern Unruh. Meal drivers: Harold Pankratz, Al and Jeri Klose and Don Harding. FISH transportation: Betty Bernhardt, Helen Fadenrecht, Dave Classen and Eldon Knak. SENIOR MENU Feb. 9: Hamburger on a bun, lettuce/ tomato, fresh orange, three-bean salad, cinnamon roll. Feb. 10: Roast beef, mashed potatoes/ gravy, cauliflower augratin, whole-wheat roll, cherry crisp. Feb. 11: Beef stroganoff, green beans, onions, whole-wheat roll, pineapple. Feb. 14: Smothered steak, baked potato, green beans/pimento, whole-wheat roll, apricots, valentine dessert. Feb. 15: New Orleans hamburger, lettuce/tomato, potato wedges, seasoned cabbage, pumpkin crunch. Feb. 16: Covered dish.
