Senior Scribbles (Week of June 20, 2007)

Carry-in meal will be Wednesday, June 20, at the Hillsboro Senior Center. Bring your own table settings. Haris Zafar will check hearing at 11:15 a.m. Max Terman will speak after lunch on the Civil War.
Wear shorts, capris or open-toed shoes to the center to kick off the first day of summer Thursday, June 21.
Birthday dinner is Monday, June 25, with special music by Julia Jost before lunch.
In celebration of the day toothpaste was invented in 1850, Dentist Loren Loewen will speak on general care after lunch Tuesday, June 26. Jeanne Rziha will offer the final diabetes classes from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Games, gab and goodies will be held for the ladies on Wednesday, June 27.
