Greetings from the Hillsboro Senior Center. We hope you will “hop” on into the Senior Center for lunch and fun.

For Thursday Theatre on April 10 we will show “Amazing Grace.” The movie is 80 minutes long. Bring in baby pictures to display on Monday, April 14 for Baby Picture Day. Hearing checks will begin at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, April 16 on a first come, first serve basis. Also on April 16 is a carry-in meal. Bring your own table settings and a main dish or dessert to share. After lunch, Bill Sontag from Hatfield Mobility will speak.

Senior Scribbles (Week of April 2, 2008)

The Hillsboro Senior Center brings you warm spring greetings. April is a season of new growth, spring rains and green grass. We grow by giving ourselves to others and allowing other people into our lives. Come and make a new friend or two this month and enjoy the fun and fellowship the senior center can provide.

Bring your favorite umbrella Thursday, April 3 for umbrella day. Game night will be at 7 p.m. Monday, April 7. Bring a game and snacks to share. Coffee will be provided. Foot care will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 8. Call 947-2304 to make and appointment.

Greetings from the Hillsboro Senior Center.

Our birthday dinner, a day to celebrate seniors with a birthday in March, will be Monday, March 31. Shari Morford will be our guest speaker after lunch. Mary McFadden will be available for foot care starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 1.

The Hillsboro Senior Center brings you warm spring greetings. As we spend Easter with family this weekend and rejoice that our Savior is risen and brings new beginnings to our lives, may you begin this new month by stopping in for a meal or activity.

The first day of spring is Thursday, March 20. Men’s coffee will begin at 3 p.m. Friday, March 21. Games, Gab and Goodies will be held after lunch Wednesday, March 26.
