We want to thank everyone who attended our fundraiser at the Milk & Honey Bed &?Breakfast.

Activities this week include Donna Becker with her topic, “Repot Yourself,” at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 22 and Golden Heritage Foods will have the program at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24.

The center’s birthday dinner is at noon Monday, Feb. 27, and we are hoping many can join us that day.

Applications are still being accepted for a head cook, so stop by the senior center and apply.

Remember anyone of any age can join us for lunch.

Meals are $2.75 for those age 60 and over and $4.50 for anyone 59 and under.

We eat at noon, Monday through Friday, and reservations must be called in before 9 a.m. the day of the...

The center’s Valentine dinner was Tuesday and we wanted to thank Lewis Hagen and Jona Baltzer for providing the entertainment.

Some other activities or people coming to the center include Haris Zafar, who will be here for hearing aid checks starting at 11 a.m. Feb. 15, followed by a business meeting and lunch that day.

Tickets are still available for the Saturday, Feb. 18, fundraising event at the Milk & Honey Bed & Breakfast. The cost is $100 per person and includes a meal and entertainment by “Friends Forever.”

Donna Becker will be here at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 22 presenting, “Repot Yourself.”

On Wednesdays and Fridays, Esther Funk continues to play piano music during the noon meal. We are...

The center is having LeOra Grunau provide entertainment at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, and everyone is encouraged to wear their red hats for Valentine’s.

Haris Zafar is here at 11 a.m. Feb. 15, followed by a business meeting with the board.

Tickets are still available for the center’s Valentine’s dinner Feb. 18. The cost is $100 per person and includes the meal and entertainment. All proceeds from the event go toward the betterment of the center.

Meals are $2.75 for those 60 and older and $4.50 for ages 59 and younger and we hope others will come join us.

It’s a great price for a meal and fellowship. For those who would like to volunteer from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., meals are free on the day of...

This week’s programs include Erica Mears at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 2 talking about hearing balance. It’s also Groundhog Day.

We have Show n’ Tell on Feb. 3 and welcome anyone who would like to bring something to share.

A sign-up sheet is available for those wanting to attend the center’s Valentine’s dinner Feb. 14. Jona Baltzer and Lewis Hagen will provide entertainment. Anyone planning to come is asked to sign up on or before Feb. 7 so that we can order meals.

We want to thank the Marion County Senior Center board for having its meeting here last Friday.

Activities this week include Bingo after lunch Jan. 25 and on Jan. 27 is Crazy Hat Day. We are encouraging anyone to wear silly or funny hats that day.

The center’s birthday dinner is Jan. 30 and will recognize anyone who had a birthday in January.

The center’s next fundraising event is Feb. 18 at the Milk and Honey Bed &?Breakfast, 1362 E. U.S. Highway 56. The cost is $100 per person. Everyone is asked to bring someone to this Valentine’s Day dinner and, entertainment is included.

Join us during the week for a cup of coffee and fellowship or to play cards, work a puzzle or enjoy a board game.
