hillsboro senior centerWe will have Bingo March 28 following lunch.
Palm Sunday is April 1 and on April 3 at noon is the center’s Easter dinner. All those planning to attend are asked to reserve their meal as soon as possible.
The April menus are available and can be picked up at the center or if someone would like it mailed, let us know.
Hope you can come and join us for a meal.
We also have coffee ready at 8 a.m. if any of you would like to come for coffee, which is ready any morning.
Thank you to everyone who supports our center.
We are having another fundraiser April 28 to include a meal and fireworks at dusk. So come have a blast with us.

hillsboro senior centerWe want to thank everyone who came to the center’s breakfast fundraiser March 17.
We also want to thank Hillsboro City Council members and Mayor Delores Dalke for approving fireworks at the event. In addition, the city paid for firefighters to be there during the fireworks display.
Earlier in the week, foot care was available and Sue Kruger of Schowalter Villa provided a program about watercolors.
Haris Zafar is here starting at 11 a.m. March 21 for hearing aid checks. Zafar will also have a short program on the applications for hearing aids when using the Bluetooth cordless phone system and other wireless phones.
Join us March 26 when we have our monthly birthday dinner at noon.

hillsboro senior centerNoreen Potter of Good Shepherd Hospice is speaking at 12:30 p.m. March 15.
Everyone is encouraged to wear their lucky chair hat March 16 for St. Patrick’s Day. Our fundraising breakfast from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. is Friday, March 16, and includes casseroles, muffins, fruit, coffee and juice We hope everyone can come and enjoy this breakfast and fellowship, which helps the senior center.
Mary McFadden is here March 20 to provide foot care. To make an appointment, call us.

We still need volunteers from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. If someone can help, they receive a free meal that day.

Hillsboro Senior CenterWelcome to March and hope everyone can come join us for a meal at the center.
Activities this week and next include Bingo Wednesday after lunch and the breakfast fundraiser March 17. We hope everyone can come and support the center. More information about the fundraiser is forthcoming.
We are still needing volunteers from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and also a head cook, so if you would like to help or apply for the position, please stop by.

hillsboro senior centerThe center is hosting Bingo Wednesday, Feb. 29.
Paul Jantzen will present a slide show of snow scenes set in poetry at 12:30 p.m. March 1.
Show and Tell is Friday, March 2. Anyone who has something to share is invited.
Our board meeting is at 10 a.m. March 5 and we hope others can join us.
A St. Patrick’s Day breakfast fundraising event is scheduled for Saturday, March 17, and we encourage everyone to mark their calendars and join us.
All proceeds from the breakfast will go towards helping the center.
Anyone at any age can enjoy a meal at the center. We also have great fellowship.
Volunteers are needed from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to help set tables and clean up.
