Two activities this week include Bingo, scheduled after lunch Wednesday, June 12, and Flag Day Friday, June 14.

Haris Zafar will be here at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, for hearing aid checks.

Toward the end of June, storm chasers Clyve Herbert and Jane ONeill will be here June 27. We hope people will come enjoy lunch and stay for this program, too.

We encourage everyone to mark their calendars for this program. They will talk about Australia and their work in the U.S.

Thank you to everyone who supports our center.

We are here for everyone, regardless of their age. The cost is $3.15 for people 60 and older or $5 for those 59 and under.

Chair massages are available June 5 and anyone interested is asked to call for more information.

We will have a program on senior violence June 6 and hope you can join us for a meal and program.

Footcare is June 11 and Mary McFadden will be back July 9.

Stormchasers Clyve Herbert and Jane ONeill will be here June 27.

It will be a great program and we encourage everyone to mark their calendars.

Whenever someone would like to eat lunch with us, please call ahead so we will know how many people to count on.

Reservations can also be called in the night before by leaving a message on the answering machine.

As May comes to a close, we still have activities available.

Bingo is planned after the noon meal on Wednesday, May 29, and Justina Neufeld will be here Thursday, May 30, to talk about her book, “A Family Torn Apart.” It might also be a good day to enjoy a meal.

Chair massages are available June 5. If interested, call to make an appointment. Mary McFadden of Peabody will provide footcare June 11 by appointment.

June menus are ready to be picked up at the center. For anyone who needs one mailed, let us know.

We hope everyone had a good Memorial Day weekend.

The center is having a program about hoarding Wednesday, May 22, presented by Gayla Ratzlaff, director of the Marion County Department on Aging.

Memorial Day is Monday, May 27, and we will be closed. Anyone who would like a frozen meal for that day is asked to let us know ahead of time so that meals can be picked up by Friday, May 24.

Justina Neufeld will be here May 30 to talk about her book, “Family Torn Apart.” It might also be a good day to enjoy a meal, too.
