Bennett, Leinhardt to wed in Hawaii
Hallie Elder Bennett and Tyler Leinhardt of Honolulu, Hawaii, announce their engagement and plans for a beach wedding Feb. 16 on the island of Maui.
Harry E. and Margaret Bennett of Marion, are parents of the bride-to-be. Her grandparents are Harry W. and Leola Bennett of Blue Springs, Mo., and the late Jack and Kay Elder of Santa Barbara, Calif.
Tom and Rojene Leinhardt of McFarland, Wis., are parents of the groom-elect. His grandmothers are Ruth Davis and Grace Aavang, both of Madison, Wis.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Marion High School and the University of Kansas, earning a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 2009. She volunteered a year in Americorps working for Hawaiian Community Assets and has continued employment there.
The groom-elect graduated from McFarland High School in Wisconsin and earned an associate’s degree in Hotel Management from the Madison Area Technical College. He is employed by Hilton Hawaiian Village in Honolulu.
The couple plan to reside in Honolulu following their marriage.
