Enns, Stauffer plan Seattle wedding

ENGAGEEnns

Jim and Brenda Enns of Hillsboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Enns, to Matt Stauffer, son of Rus and Deb Stauffer of Lima, Ohio.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Hillsboro High School, Hesston College and Kansas State University with a degree in mechanical engineering. She has been employed with an engineering consulting firm in Seattle, Wash., since 2008, and will be pursuing a master’s degree in urban planning at the University of Washington this fall.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Elida High School in Lima, and Goshen (Ind.) College. He is employed as a controller at Republic Services in Seattle.

Grandparents are Lauren and Luetta Enns of Hillsboro and Ron and Dora Unruh of Dur­ham.

The couple’s wedding is planned for September at Lake Washington in Seattle. A Kansas reception is scheduled for October.

 

Voth and Cook to marry in September

James and Gayle Voth of Goessel are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Voth of Lawrence, to Anthony Cook of Lawrence. The groom-to-be is the son of Yvonne Metz of Hutchinson.

The bride-to-be earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration and communications with a mass media concentration at Bethel College. After graduating from Bethel, she attended the University of Kansas School of Law where she received her juris doctorate.

Amanda is an assistant attorney general in Topeka, where she prosecutes a variety of crimes. In addition to being a prosecutor, she teaches criminal procedure for a private Kansas college.

The groom-to-be is a full-time student at the University of Kansas pursuing a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering. In addition to school, Anthony is working part-time gaining engineering experience.

The couple will be married in September 2012 near Goessel, followed by a reception in Newton.

 

Deines, Hajek plan Sept. 1 wedding

Jeff and Gayla Deines of Ramona and John and Carla Hajek of Tampa announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Jessica Lynn Deines to Andrew John Hajek, both of Tampa.

The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Centre High School and a 2008 graduate of the American Academy of Cosmetology in Manhattan. She is employed at the Marion County Appraiser’s office.

The groom-elect is a 2005 graduate of Centre High School and a 2009 graduate of Kansas State University in agricultural economics. He is a family farmer and salesman for Pioneer Seeds.

Grandparents are Mervin and Leona Deines of Ramona and Lowell Barten of Hope.

A Sept. 1 wedding is planned at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Herington.
