Klassen, Rose plan May 26 Wedding

Delton and Denice Klassen of Halstead and Gary and Georgette Rose of Overland Park announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Rebecca Klassen and Brett Rose, both of Overland Park.

Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Lloyd and Evalina Klassen of Hillsboro and John and the late Raelene Barth of Golden, Colo.

The future bride is a 2006 graduate of Halstead High School. She received her bachelor of science degree in secondary education-social studies from Kansas State University in 2011.

She works in the Olathe School District and is coaching high school softball.

The groom-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Blue Valley North­west High School. In 2009 he received his bachelor of science degree in business, with a major in finance and information systems, from Kansas University.

The couple plan a May 26 wedding at Redemptorist Catholic Church in Kansas City, Mo.
