Unruh and Perkins set wedding date

Merrill and Andrea Unruh of Goessel and Steve Perkins and Theresa Perkins, both of Doug­lass, announce the engagement of their children, Carolyn Unruh and Bobby Perkins, both of Wichita.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Goessel High School and Kansas State University. She is employed as a third-grade teacher at Annoor Islamic School, Wichita.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Douglass High School and Kansas State. He is employed as a project engineer at Hutton Construction, Wichita.

A Sept. 3 wedding is planned at Faith Mennonite Church, Newton.
