Estelle, Jordan plan July 16 wedding



Bailey Estelle, daughter of Rita and Brad Bartel of Hills­boro and the late Ralph Estelle II, and Jesse Jordan, son of Kathy and Rick Jordan of Kansas City, Mo., have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Hillsboro High School and Tabor College, earning a bachelor of arts degree in organizational communications and communication studies.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Jefferson City High School, Jefferson City, Mo. He also is a graduate of the University of Missouri, earning a bachelor of science degree in hotel and restaurant management. He is employed as the director of sales at the Holiday Inn in Overland Park.

Topham, Morgan plan to wed June 24



Greg and Kim Topham of Peabody announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Kate Elizabeth to Blake Rylan Morgan, son of Bob and Ann Morgan of Goddard.

The bride-to-be is a 2009 graduate of Southwestern College in Winfield with a bachelor of science degree in biology and minor in leadership studies. She is also a 2011 graduate of Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colo., with a master’s degree in food science and human nutrition. She completed a dietetic internship and is studying to sit on the registered dietitian board exam at the end of summer.

Wedel, Spencer to wed in Goessel

Megan Christine Wedel of Goessel and Aaron Ryan Spencer of Ottawa, together with their parents, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ron and Becky Wedel of Goessel. She is a 2007 graduate of Goessel High School and 2011 graduate of Hesston College. She is employed as a registered nurse at Newman Regional Health in Emporia.

The groom-elect is the son of Kevin and Linda Spencer of Ottawa and is a 2003 graduate of Ottawa High School. He is employed by Spencer Farms in Ottawa.
