Davidson, Meehan to wed Aug. 18



Greg and Rose Davidson of Marion and Clint and Marianne Smith of Philadelphia, Pa., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Rachel Davidson and Stephen Meehan, both of Philadelphia.

The bride-to-be graduated from Marion High School in 2005 and University of Notre Dame in 2010. She is employed as director of development at St. Peter the Apostle School in Philadelphia.

The groom-to-be graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School, Philadelphia, in 2006 and University of Notre Dame in 2010. He is employed as a market research analyst at Beneficial Bank in Philadelphia.

Jeffrey, Christensen to wed in Marion

Mike and Diane Jeffrey and Tim Christensen and Michon Christensen announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Clinton Jeffrey to Tiffany Christensen, all of Marion.

The bride-to-be is a 2010 graduate of Marion High School and is employed with the city of Marion.

The groom-elect is a 2006 graduate of Marion High School and is employed with the Marion Police Department.

A Sept. 22 wedding is planned in the couple’s backyard.

Enns, Stauffer plan Seattle wedding



Jim and Brenda Enns of Hillsboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Enns, to Matt Stauffer, son of Rus and Deb Stauffer of Lima, Ohio.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Hillsboro High School, Hesston College and Kansas State University with a degree in mechanical engineering. She has been employed with an engineering consulting firm in Seattle, Wash., since 2008, and will be pursuing a master’s degree in urban planning at the University of Washington this fall.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Elida High School in Lima, and Goshen (Ind.) College. He is employed as a controller at Republic Services in Seattle.

Howard, Schmidt plan to wed Nov. 17

Mark and Linda Howard of Hutchinson and Loren and Sandy Schmidt of Canton announce the engagement of their children, Lacey Christine Howard to Dustin Wade Schmidt.

The bride-to-be graduated from Haven High School and is studying food science at Kansas State University in Manhattan.

The groom-elect graduated from Canton-Galva High School and is studying milling science, also at KSU.

The wedding is slated for Nov. 17 at First Christian Church in Hutchinson.
