Engagement- Johnson, Fleske plan July wedding

JohnsonFleskeEng.jpg JohnsonFleskeEng.jpg Ken and Delores Johnson of Hillsboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Danielle Johnson, to Jedidiah Fleske, son of Alfred and Elizabeth Fleske of Larned and Diana Fleske of Great Bend.

The bride-elect, also the daughter of the late Norris and Alna Bolding, is a 2004 graduate of Hillsboro High School and a 2008 graduate of Fort Hays State University with a degree in elementary education. She is employed by the Ft. Larned school district.

Duane and Karen Carlson of Lincolnville announce the engagement of their daughter, Andrea Carlson, to Eloy Menodza, son of Federico and Maria Mendoza of Houston, Texas.

The bride-to-be recently graduated from Southwestern College with a bachelor’s degree in music. In August, she will start teaching music in Udall.

The groom-elect recently graduated from Southwestern College with a master’s degree in business administration. In 2006, he graduated from Southwestern with a communications degree.

He works as the digital communications counselor in the college’s admissions office.

Brittany Wiens of Hutchinson and Tyler Goertzen of Hesston announce their engagement and plans to be married.

Parents of the bride-to-be are Kevin and Julie Wiens of Hutchinson.

Parents of the groom-elect are Nelson and Betsy Goertzen of Hesston.

The bride-to-be intends to graduate from Bethel College, North Newton, in 2009.

The groom-elect graduated from Bethel College in May.

The couple will be married July 19 at Bethel Mennonite Church in Inman.

The future bride, daughter of Dean and Laureen Schmitt of Hudson, Iowa, is associate professor of piano and piano pedagogy at Tabor College. She has music degrees from Houghton College, the University of Colo­rado at Boulder and the Univer­sity of Kansas.

The groom-to-be, son of Virgil and Phyllis Litke, rural Marion, is a former music faculty member at Tabor College and is currently farming. He has music degrees from Tabor and the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

Greg and Denise Brown and Dave and Cheri Marsh, all of Hillsboro, announce the engagement of their children, Jillian Denise and Caleb Newell.

The bride is a graduate of Minneapolis High School and Tabor College with a dual degree in communications and marketing. She is the marketing coordinator for Smoky Hill Education Service Center, Salina.

The groom is a graduate of Hillsboro High School and a May candidate for graduation from Tabor College with a degree in business administration with an emphasis in aviation.
