Regier, Post to wed Nov. 12 in Wichita



Jim and Mary Regier, Hillsboro, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Christina Marie Regier, to Seth David Post, son of Pat and Janet Post, Burns.

The bride-elect graduated from Hillsboro High School in 2000 and from Tabor College in 2006 with a degree in organizational communication. She works in accounts payable vendor maintenance for Invista, a subsidiary of Koch Industries, in Wichita.

The groom-to-be graduated from Peabody High School in 1997 and from K-State in 2006 with a degree in public relations. He is working on his master’s degree in agricultural economics, also from K-State. He is the newly appointed manager of The Scoular Company in Minneapolis...

Schmidt, Pluchino plan July wedding

 

Ken and Elaine Schmidt and Mark and Maria Pluchino announce the engagement of their children, Daniel Schmidt of Lehigh to Lauren Pluchino of Horseheads, N.Y.

The groom-elect is a 2002 graduate of Goessel High School, a 2004 graduate of Hesston College and a 2007 graduate of Goshen College.

He is employed by Coastal Airways as a pilot in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Africa.

The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Horseheads High School and a 2008 graduate of Bates College.

She is a graduate student at Columbia University.

A July 9 wedding will be at Sage Chapel, Cornell University, Ithica, N.Y., with a reception at the Aurora Inn, Aurora, N.Y.

A reception in Kansas will follow on July 16.

Duerksen, Galle to wed Jan. 1



Gary and Janet Duerksen of Lehigh announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy, to Paul Galle, son of Neal and Clare Galle of Mound­ridge.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Hillsboro High School and Washburn University. She is a nurse working at Via Christi Hospital in Wichita. She is the granddaughter of Erma Pank­ratz of Goessel and the late Wes Pankratz, and the late Menno and Lydia Duerksen, Lehigh.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Moundridge High School and will graduate with a double major from Kansas State University in December. He is the grandson of Ruth Galle of Moundridge and the late Richard Galle, and Dr. and Mrs. Druery Thorn of Sun City West, Ariz.
