Wedel, Spencer to wed in Goessel

Megan Christine Wedel of Goessel and Aaron Ryan Spencer of Ottawa, together with their parents, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ron and Becky Wedel of Goessel. She is a 2007 graduate of Goessel High School and 2011 graduate of Hesston College. She is employed as a registered nurse at Newman Regional Health in Emporia.

DeDonder, Jury plan June 18 wedding

Tim and Cathy DeDonder of St. Mary’s and Steve and Kathy Jury of Hillsboro announce the engagement of their children, Elizabeth Rose DeDonder of St. Mary’s to Benjamin Joshua Jury of Topeka.

The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Cair Paravel Latin School in Topeka and a 2011 graduate of the University of St. Mary’s in Leavenworth with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is employed with Prestige Home Care of Kansas in Topeka.

The groom-elect is a 2003 graduate of Hillsboro High School and a 2007 graduate of Washburn University in Topeka with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is employed at CoreFirst Bank and Trust, Topeka.

Ziesmer, Jirak plan June 4 wedding

Todd and Marie Ziesmer of Orona, Minn., and Steven and Victoria Jirak of Ramona announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Gina M. Ziesmer to Seth S. Jirak, both of Atchison.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Benedictine College and will be employed as a sixth and eighth grade math teacher at Xavier Elementary School.
